EVENT PARTICIPATION & TERMS AGREEMENT
By purchasing or using a ticket, wristband, RSVP, complimentary guest list spot, or otherwise entering a Dance With Pride event (collectively “Event”), you (“Attendee”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by all terms below.
1. Introduction & Definitions
This Agreement governs attendance at any Event produced, promoted, or hosted by Dance With Pride (a division of LGBTravel LLC), its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, performers, vendors, and venue partners (“DWP,” “we,” or “us”). “Participants” means Attendees and any other person present at the Event.
2. Eligibility, Age Requirements & Identification
- Events are 21+ unless explicitly marketed otherwise; a government‑issued photo ID must be presented at entry.
- Tickets are personal, revocable licenses; resale or transfer is allowed only through the official resale platform (if any) or with DWP’s prior written consent.
3. Ticketing, Registration & Entry Policies
- Entry is subject to capacity limits, security screening, and compliance with venue rules and all applicable laws. Dance With Pride will not oversell an event, to ensure all digital ticket holders receive guaranteed entry. Tickets available at the door are limited to any remaining venue capacity.
- No re‑entry unless a same‑night wristband or hand‑stamp policy is posted.
- Counterfeit, duplicated, or invalid tickets will be refused.
4. Compliance With Laws & Venue Policies
Attendees must follow all federal, state, and local laws; venue policies; fire codes; and directives from security, staff, or law enforcement. Failure to do so may result in immediate ejection without refund.
5. Assumption of Risk, Waiver & Release of Liability
Attendee understands that loud music, dancing, strobe lights, lasers, fog/haze, special effects, crowded spaces, and other factors can pose significant risks of physical injury, illness (including but not limited to communicable diseases such as COVID‑19), emotional distress, or property loss. Attendee voluntarily assumes all such risks and irrevocably releases and agrees to indemnify DWP and its affiliates from any and all claims — whether caused by negligence or otherwise — to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Health, Communicable Disease & Fitness to Participate
Attendee certifies they are, to the best of their knowledge, physically and mentally fit to attend and will not enter the Event if experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness. DWP reserves the right to implement health screenings (e.g., temperature checks or proof of vaccination) as required by law or venue policy.
7. Code of Conduct & Anti‑Harassment Policy
DWP is a zero‑tolerance environment for discrimination, harassment, or hate of any kind (including but not limited to race, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, disability, body type, or religion). Consent is mandatory for any physical interaction. Violations will result in immediate removal and potential permanent ban.
8. Alcohol, Drugs & Substance Use
- No outside alcohol; only venue‑purchased beverages may be consumed.
- Possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances is prohibited.
- Service of alcohol may be refused to anyone at DWP’s sole discretion.
9. Prohibited Items, Weapons & Security Screening
The following are not permitted: weapons (including pocketknives), fireworks, professional cameras/video rigs without prior accreditation, drones, laser pointers, illegal substances, glass containers, and any item deemed dangerous by security. All bags are subject to search; refusal equals denied entry without refund.
10. Accessibility & Accommodation
DWP strives to make Events accessible in compliance with the ADA. Email events@dancewpride.com at least 14 days prior to request reasonable accommodations.
11. Emergency Medical Consent
In a medical emergency, Attendee authorizes DWP and on‑site personnel to provide or arrange care. Attendee is financially responsible for all related costs and releases DWP from liability for the administration or outcome of such treatment.
12. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property
DWP and venue owners are not responsible for personal belongings. Secure valuables; coat/bag check is offered where available.
13. Media Release & Intellectual Property
Attendee grants DWP a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use Attendee’s image, voice, and likeness captured at the Event in any media, for any lawful purpose, without further notice or compensation. All Event branding, graphics, and content remain DWP intellectual property and may not be used commercially without written permission.
14. Privacy & Data Collection
Personal data collected via ticketing platforms or onsite technologies (e.g., RFID wristbands) will be processed per DWP’s Privacy Policy and applicable law. DWP may send transactional and limited promotional emails/SMS; Attendee may opt out at any time.
15. Event Cancellation, Postponement, Modification & Refunds
DWP may alter the Event (including talent lineup, venue, date, or time) or cancel due to weather, force majeure, public health orders, or other circumstances beyond its control. Should cancellation occur, DWP’s sole obligation is, at its discretion, to (a) honor the ticket for a rescheduled date, or (b) provide a face‑value refund less non‑recoverable processing fees; no other damages or costs will be covered.
16. Force Majeure
“Force Majeure” includes acts of God, severe weather, war, terrorism, government regulation, pandemic, supply shortages, labor disputes, or any cause beyond DWP’s reasonable control. Performance under this Agreement shall be excused during such circumstances.
17. Governing Law, Venue & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, County of Escambia. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration or small‑claims court in Escambia County, at DWP’s election. Each party waives the right to a jury trial.
18. Severability, No Waiver & Amendments
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in full force. DWP’s failure to enforce any term is not a waiver. DWP may update this Agreement at any time; the version in effect on the Event date governs.
19. Entire Agreement & Acknowledgment
This document constitutes the entire agreement between Attendee and DWP regarding Event attendance, superseding all prior understandings. By purchasing a ticket or entering the Event, Attendee affirmatively acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these terms.
20. Have A Wonderful Experience!
Our goal is to keep you safe and ensure a great experience for everyone involved! We appreciate your agreement to the terms above, and look forward to seeing you at an incredible Dance With Pride event soon!
